AUACOM offers a U.S.-modeled Doctor of Medicine program with pre-clinical education in Antigua and clinical rotations at affiliated U.S. teaching hospitals. With tuition locked by cohort, students have greater predictability when planning the cost of their medical education. The Global Health Track is conducted on the campus of AUA in Antigua. Students have Global Health included in their core curriculum as part of the Clinical Medicine strand in a module called Health Systems Science and Global Health (HSSGH). They must do a minimum of three twenty-hour global health electives in their preclinical years, including Global Health Research I. Pre-clinical Global Health electives will be offered to students in their 3rd to 6th trimesters. The lectures are conducted by international faculty (FIU, University of the West Indies, State University of New York, Cornell University, New York University, University of Illinois, University of Nevada, United Nations, Doctors Without Borders among others) and AUA faculty. |

Requirements: AUA Canadian medical school applicants do not need to submit MCAT scores to be considered for admission to AUA. As opposed to other international students, aspiring Canadian medical school students do not need to submit official TOEFL or IELTS score reports to apply to AUA.
